Against Spiking | Smirnoff

The Problem

Drink spiking is a rising epidemic in the UK, which is why we want to give people a better way of protecting themselves on a night out.

Insight

A night out is rightfully messy, so people forget to use anti-spiking technology that’s already out there: colour changing nail polish and coasters, bottle stoppers, etc.

Solution

With Smirnoff, the spike detecting technology will be implemented into the glass. The famous red Smirnoff logo will be used as a test strip that turn blue if they come in contact with spiking chemicals, so all you have to remember is that Smirnoff is red, not blue.

When ordering a Smirnoff, it will come in these glasses.

Red is normal, blue is spiked.
